INFO AUTHENTHIC KYUDON - VISUAL IDENTITY INFO “Tom & Danny” challenged us to create an emblem that represented two heads that symbolizes their joint venture. BOLD TOM & DANNY - VISUAL IDENTITY Since 1957, Thong Kee Trading has been the pioneers of the industry, boasting with multitude choice of beverages. A true gem. INFO VIBRANT KOI UBAN SUSHI BAR - VISUAL IDENTITY, SIGNAGE A trendy and hip sushi bar, we went with contrast colours for their brand design which was inspired by koi fishes as well as their served dishes. PROJECT SUMMARY Kyudon is a modern-chic Japanese restaurant located in Johor Bahru, Johor. Not only does Kyudon serve wonderful cuisine creations, but it is also pork and lard-free! After all, they are an eatery designed for inclusivity. ​ We met with the Merk Group, where they shared their strategy and objectives but required an appealing brand identity. CLIENT Kyudon TYPE OF CLIENT Japanese Restaurant CATEGORY Visual Identity KYUDON In line with Kyudon’s concept, JP Mediaworks created a contemporary Japanese logo with visual elements of a fish to represent the Japanese eatery, a red dot similar to the one on the Japanese flag indicating the Sun, and the Japanese character for the number 9 to reflect the diner's multiple dishes. ​ Two lines are delicately designed into the name itself - one over the letter "U" that represents chopsticks over a ramen bowl and the other beneath the word "O" that represents a plate being served up to the patrons. ​ ​ NEXT PREVIOUS

PROJECT SUMMARY Kyu Izakaya brings a piece of Japan to the heart of Johor Bahru. When Kyu Izakaya came to us with the challenge of creating the restaurant's identity, they had a specific creative concept in mind. We digitized the owner's own handwritten vintage ink calligraphy and incorporated it into the overall brand to add a personal touch. We combined traditional, simplistic, and modern elements to create an upscale, minimalist aesthetic while serving authentic Izakaya and sushi meals. Seeking a modern refresh, MG Medical Clinic wanted a design that balanced professionalism with approachability. They aimed for a clean, friendly aesthetic that resonated with their diverse clientele. The symbol was built from the inspiration of the Greek God Hermes primarily hand drawn on the iPad using procreate. ​ “Tom & Danny” challenged us to create an emblem that represented two heads that symbolizes their joint venture and applied it by mirroring the symbol. The waves on the background adds even more to the aesthetics of the project. Thick circle borders forms and completes a strong and memorable symbol. ​ ​ ​ ​ PROJECT SUMMARY Here's the new visual identity of "Tom & Danny", an upcoming brand of robust coffee and treats. ​ The basic concepts for creating the visual identity were traditionality, boldness and elegance.
